A long time ago, Aladdin was a small boy who lived in a busy city in Arabia. He was kind and generous. He didn’t have much; all he had was a small house he shared with his mother and an insatiable curiosity. Even if life was hard, Aladdin never stopped dreaming of something better.
One day, when Aladdin was walking around the market and taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of the colourful and fragrant items, a stranger came up to him. The man said with a warm smile, “I’m your uncle.” I’ve been looking for you for a long time.
But the truth was that this person was not at all his uncle. This man was a wizard, and he wanted something very powerful.
He told Aladdin that there was a secret treasure deep inside a cave in the mountains.
He said, “There is something inside that only you can touch.” “If you help me, we’ll both get rich.”
Aladdin agreed, curious and hopeful.
The sorcerer led Aladdin to a cave that was safe from harm by a huge rock while they were walking through the desert. With just a few magic words, the rock may be moved.
He said, “You’ll find an old lamp inside,” and he was right. It doesn’t seem like it matters much, but it does. Please bring it to me and don’t touch anything else.
Aladdin nodded a little and then went into the cave that was shining. He couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw gold coins piled high, beautiful gems, and treasures that were even better than he could have imagined. He remembered the warning, though, and kept going until he found an old light that was collecting dust on a small table.
He picked it up quickly and headed back, but just as he was ready to go inside, the sorcerer asked for the lamp before helping him leave.
“No,” Aladdin said, gripping it tightly. I need your help initially.
The sorcerer’s smile disappeared after a while. He slammed the cave door shut in a fit of wrath, trapping Aladdin inside.
Aladdin sat alone in the dark, shaking. He tried to get rid of some of the dust on the lamp by running his fingers over it, but then, you guessed it, POOF! There was a swirling mass of smoke in the cave.
A huge figure that came out of the dark said, “I am the Genie of the Lamp.” You have freed me, and in gratitude, I will grant you three wishes.
When Aladdin finally got the words out, he said them in a low voice: “I want to go home.”
In the blink of an eye, he was back in his little house.
He told his mother everything. People were shocked, but they were also careful. The genie helped them live a little bit better. They could stay warm, eat, and wear clothes.
When Aladdin saw Princess Jasmine while walking around the city, he was so amazed that he couldn’t breathe. She was a lady who was kind, graceful, and full of life.
The second wish Aladdin made was for the genie to give him the power to become a prince. He did this in the hopes of winning her love and her father’s favour.
Aladdin rode a beautiful horse to the palace and wore clothing with gold trim over them. The Sultan was impressed, but the most important thing was that Jasmine could see his heart, which was brave, giving, and honest.
They got engaged to get married right away.
The sorcerer, on the other hand, had not given up from a considerable distance. When he found out that Aladdin had the lamp, he came up with a bad plan.
He got through the castle gates while pretending to be a salesman and shouting, “New lamps for old!” Jasmine traded Aladdin’s lamp for a brand new one since she thought it was just an old piece of junk.
The sorcerer, who now had the magic lamp, called the genie and made a horrible wish: to steal Aladdin’s palace, Jasmine, and all of their riches and take them to a desert far away.
When he got home and saw that the palace had been destroyed, his heart sank. But he didn’t give up.
He was bold and smart enough to follow the magician across the shore and through the stone. He was able to sneak in, get the lamp, and face the genie again, even though he tried his hardest.
He said what he really wanted: for everyone and everything to be returned to me safe and sound.
The palace was once again proudly standing in the city, and Jasmine ran into Aladdin’s arms right away.
Aladdin also had to finish the job. He told the genie, “I wish for your freedom,” while looking straight at him.
The genie’s eyes got bigger. Are you willing to give up your last wish for me?
“Yes,” Aladdin said with a smile on his face. “You’ve done enough. You deserve to be free.
Finally, the genie was free, and he laughed with joy as he flew up into the sky.
There was a lot of music, laughter, and dancing at Aladdin and Jasmine’s wedding. A beautiful event. During their time as rulers, they were kind and wise, and they never forgot where they came from.
Is that Aladdin? He learnt that the most potent magic of all was being bold, kind, and honest.
It’s done.
